Claim policy
1. The jewelry of D.I.C. a.s. is produced using the most modern methods of production, individually tested and undergo strict quality control. They are marked with the hallmark of the Assay Office under Czech law č.539/92 Coll. On hallmarking and precious metal testing. All jewelry purchased from the company Diamonds International Corporation has a 24 months guarantee on defects in materials. Violent or other mechanical damage caused by improper use of the product (eg use of chemicals, crushed by stepping, scratches, etc.) will not be approved as a material defect.
2. The seller is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.
3. The buyer is entitled to make a claim of quality defect within 14 days of receipt of goods covered for a period of 24 months.
4. In the case of conflict of goods with the contract, the buyer is entitled either to having the goods brought free of charge into a state conforming with the contract through the repair or replacement of goods, or an appropriate reduction of the purchase price or to withdraw from the contract.
5. Complaint must be addressed in writing to the address of the seller: DIC a.s. Široká 15, Praha 1, 110 00, and without undue delay after their discovery within the deadlines set by law on issuing complaints.
6. The complaint should include: number of order, date of filling the order (in the form DD.MM.YYYY), the date of receipt of goods, specification of defects and a proposal of processing the complaint. The seller will indicate on how to proceed further.
7. The cost of settling legitimate claims is the seller´s obligation.
8. Consumers will be informed in writing or by telephone 30 days of the complaint settlement.
9. The warranty does not apply to wear caused by normal usage. The warranty does not apply to improper intervention of the purchaser and other unauthorized persons, and careless handling in contradiction with the instructions and use (e.g. hits, falls, water leakage into non-waterproof models, unauthorized modification of watches).
Privacy
The personal data of clients are stored in accordance with the applicable laws of the Czech Republic, especially the Law on Protection of Personal Data, No. 101/2000 Coll. as amended. The personal information of customers is fully protected against abuse. By closing the purchase contract the buyer agrees with the processing and storing of their personal data in our database and thus, until a written statement of disagreement with the processing is received.
The buyer has the right to access their personal data, the right to change them and eliminate them from our database as well as to other legal rights related to such data. The personal data given when ordering goods serves explicitly for our purposes and will not be granted to other entities. An exception is with external delivery services to which the personal information of customers is given only to the extent necessary for safe delivery of goods.
